I am a recent graduate at Durham College, taking a two- year Video Production Diploma program. 
It has been one of my life’s goals to work in post production and I have a great interest in editing.

Before I began pursuing my dream of working in video editing, I completed a master’s degree in organic device engineering and a bachelor’s degree in polymer science and engineering, even achieving 2 patents for my work.

Another strength would be my determination in pursuing goals and when combined with my passion for learning has led me to acquire skills a cross multiple software used for video editing.

In addition, I am also self taught in multiple VFX software.

My experience goes beyond software as I have experience and a natural ability in other areas of video production, such as lighting, camera work, and recording audio. 

Throughout my life I have demonstrated a hard work ethic. During my recent post secondary career, I have attended all classes, completed assessments and achieved a GPA more than 4.5 all while working more than 80 hours per month.

I am able to work under pressure and tight timelines. My ability to communicate and build relationships with others supports the teams I have been a part of. I enjoy working with people and strive to tackle problems collaboratively in support of finding new and innovative ways of doing things. It helps that I am bi-lingual and have lived experience in different international cultures allowing me to often connect and relate to people on many levels.

I enjoy connecting with people through video, to experience and capture the moments that make life so interesting and happy. I love witnessing reactions to my videos and how experiences and emotions can be passed from one person to other.
